PARK COUNTY, Wyo. — Wyoming officials are seeking information on a possible grave site found on private property in Park County.

The Park County Sheriff's Office said on Facebook that the site was found in the Polecat Bench area off Wyoming Highway 294 north of Powell.

The marker has sandstone rocks about six feet long with a white homemade metal cross as a marker.

Search and Rescue cadaver dogs indicated that human remains may be in the grave.

The grave appears to be old. The name "Morgan" is cut into the cross with the numbers "88" on one side and "03" on the other.

A necklace chain is attached to the cross with one large finger ring, possibly for a male, and other finger rings, possibly for a female. The rings were tarnished from exposure.

Anyone with information on the grave should call the Park County Sheriff's Office at 307-754-8700 or 307-527-8700. Or you can message the agency's Facebook page.
