Billings police blocked Zimemrman Trail on Wednesday morning due to hazardous driving conditions.
Sgt. Shane Winden said patrol cars had blocked both ends of Zimmerman Trail shortly after 7:30 a.m. as plow trucks sanded the road. The road was not officially closed, Winden said, but that status could change.
Several vehicles slid off the roadway earlier Wednesday morning forcing the precautionary measures.
