HUNTLEY-
If you've driven past Pryor Creek down I-90 over the last two days and have seen some bright lights, they're coming from Narnyia.
No, not that Narnia - it's a 4 Day Annual Music & Art Car Festival.
"This is called Narnyia Independent Music and Art Car Festival," Narnyia creator Bryan Bickham said.
"It is a four day, camp-out, music and Art Car festival. We're COVID safe. And we're here to have a great time," Narnyia creator Christopher Cross said.
For those who may be unfamiliar with art cars-they're not street legal, but are focal points at festivals such as Burning Man. The cars can take years to build, and usually require transport by trailer.
"Building onto it and building onto it, and it's like somebody's creation," Cross said.
Being held located outside of Reno, Nevada for over two decades, Burning Man, was canceled for 2020 in light of COVID19.
"And they have all kinds of cool art cars, all kinds of cool art comes to that event," Cross said, "So, I was like, let's get these really cool art cars, and bring them here to Montana, because, why not, if they're not going to Burning Man they might as well come here.
The Narnyia festival attracted art cars, independent musicians and DJ's from a variety of genres from around the country.
"It's all independent music because we love all genres. We love all genres, country, rap, rock, reggae, bluegrass, you name it. We love independent music.
There are also a handful of other events, like a hot-dog eating contest, foam party, and more music.
The festival is on the grounds of Chancey's event center in Huntley, and it goes through tomorrow - with reduced ticket prices for the rest of the festival.
