Though the COVID-19 pandemic has caused numerous annual Billings Halloween events to be canceled, the Moss Mansion will still be providing a place for people to find a few scares.

Corinna Sinclair, operations manager at the Moss Mansion, says that like always they have been working all year to prepare the mansion for Halloween.

A few of the events that are already planned for this year include:

· Oct. 1 Mysteries at the Moss
· Oct. 2 Flashlight tours: ghostly encounters themed
· Oct. 9, 10 Clue Assassins
· Oct. 15 Kids mazes
· Oct. 16, 17 Outdoor mazes: labyrinth themed/ indoor theater

Sinclair says that this year tickets will be available online for the events. She says that when people book their spot, they must be on time the day of their booking. Showing up early will cause a line at the door which is what Sinclair says they are avoiding this year due to the pandemic.

Sinclair says the themes and scenarios this year will have a new twist.

“Seventh year for our indoor theater, and the theme this year is ghost encounters. We will have kind of a realistic setup. It’s going to be setup like a construction zone that’s been maybe abandoned for a little while, and as a guest you are going to come in as a wanderer looking to see if maybe the place us haunted,” says Sinclair.

For all the events, masks will be required.

“Please mask up. We are trying to (be) good to everyone and neighborly, and so let’s mask up,” says Sinclair
