BILLINGS — The Billings Fire Department is calling fire involving an motor home suspicious.
Firefighters responded a little after 9 p.m. Thursday to a lot at Second Avenue North and North 17th Street.
Captain Kevin Bentz says a 1960s era motor home was ablaze when crew arrived.
The lot was not secured and the gate was unlocked, so crews were able to quickly put out the fire.
No one was in the motor home, which appeared to be used for storage.
Bentz says a cause can not be determined and he called the fire suspicious.
Estimated damage was $1,000.
The fire marshal is investigating.
