The Downtown Billings Alliance has created a new way to honor healthcare workers in Yellowstone County.
The DBA announced Monday that the Yellowstone County Response and Recovery Team will present 10,000 gift cards to local health care workers on Friday, Nov. 13.
The purpose of the cards will be to say thank you to Yellowstone County health care workers in honor of Healthcare Appreciation Day.
The Downtown Billings gift card can be used at various downtown business locations to shop, eat, etc. According to the Downtown Billings Alliance, over 50 businesses are likely to accept the new gift cards.
The first donation call of 100 gift cards came from Valley Credit Union in Billings. The first online community donation came from Marci Rail at the Billings Depot.
