ArtWalk celebrating 25 years

BILLINGS — ArtWalk Downtown Billings will host a Special Event on Friday, September 13 from 5 - 9 p.m. to showcase Billings' thriving and vibrant arts community.

The special event, free and open to the public, coincides with theVisitBillings' TbeXwriter's gathering and the North by Northwest exhibition coordinated by Billings Cultural Partners.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary season, ArtWalk normally hosts six events each year on the first Friday of every other month. The added special event features over 20 season member ArtWalk locations, including galleries, studios, museums, a downtown church and other "art-friendly" places and music by Free Spirit Rock Band at Hooligan's.

ArtWalk season members acknowledge the ArtWalk's vital role in fostering community and its contribution to our local economy.

Season members locations open for ArtWalk's special event include:

Uptown Loop: First Congregational Church, Global Village, This House of Books, Cascading Colors Studio (a new season member), and Barjon's Books

Skypoint Loop: Kennedy's Stained Glass, Sandstone Gallery, Toad N Willow, Downtown Billings Alliance, Joy of Living, Terakedis Gallery, Bishops, Montana Gallery, Jakes and Aspinwall

Historic Loop: Kirks Grocery, Dickey's BBQ, Harry Koyama Studio and Fine Art Gallery, Toucan Gallery, Connie Dillon at Gallery Nine, McCormick Cafe, CTA Architects and Liberty & Vine
