BILLINGS — Antique collectors and artists brought their goods to the Rescued and Reclaimed Harvest Season Vintage Market at the MetraPark Expo Center on Saturday.

Some keep the antiques remain intact and some used creativity to make something different.

The market features nearly 170 vendors. with some from as far away as Iowa.

The fun is having the vision of what they want to make and finding the recycled and reclaimed material.

"Sometimes I think it is the hunt," said April Hamrell, co-owner of the market. "Or the TV shows. You know, everything old is coming back new. The farmhouse look. Some of the stuff that you find when they're ready to throw it away is the best stuff. One man's junk is another man's treasure."

There are six Rescued and Restored events each year and the next one is the Country Christmas Vintage Market on Nov. 23.
