BILLINGS – Q2 is teaming up with Family Service to host a baby shower on Thursday, June 6.
The goal is to collect new and gently-used baby items for the organization.
The effort comes as Family Service gets ready to move into its new building at 3927 1st Ave. S.
Executive Director Stacy Brown said getting ready for a new location is almost like getting ready for a new baby.
“Getting ready for this building is like giving birth all over again to Family Service. This is going to be our home forever. It’s been a long time coming. We’ve talked about it for years, and now it’s actually coming to fruition and we’re excited. We’re so thankful to the community, especially,” Brown said.
Everything from blankets, to diapers, toys, toiletries, books, and clothes will be accepted.
Anyone who makes a donation the morning of June 6 can also get a tour of the new Family Service building.
Montana this Morning will broadcast live and collect the items at the new facility that morning starting at 5:30 a.m. and going through 9 a.m.
The items will go to local families that need assistance gathering items for their new baby.
