BILLINGS – Billings police made an arrest at gunpoint on Grand Avenue late Tuesday morning.
Officers were responding to earlier reports that someone was waving a rifle out a car window.
Officers rushed a small Ford sedan after it stopped in the westbound lane of Grand Avenue in front of Senior High School at about 11:15 a.m.
Police tweeted a woman, two girls and a boy exited the car with officers’ guns drawn.
The male was the last to exit and appeared to be in the back seat car of the car.
The occupants were immediately handcuffed without further incident.
Police pulled a BB gun rifle and a small handgun from the vehicle.
The females were released, but the male was arrested.
