BILLINGS – A Billings Police Department patrol car was damaged early Tuesday in a two-vehicle crash.
Sgt. Matt Lennick said no one was injured in the two-vehicle crash that happened on North 24th Street at 12:05 a.m., but the patrol car had to be towed from the scene due to the damages.
The crash happened when a car failed to yield the right-of-way and hit the patrol car in an intersection, Lennick said. The officer was responding to a call at the time of the crash.
A woman driving the car was arrested for drunken driving. There was a male passenger in the car at the time of the crash, Lennick said.
BPD Officer was traveling west on 1st Ave N responding to a call when a vehicle failed to yield the ROW at N 24th St. The patrol veh and other veh collided in the intersection. Driver of the other vehicle was investigated for DUI. No injuries reported on scene.
