Update 12:50 p.m. The owners reported that the truck has been located. It’s missing its generator.

BILLINGS- Someone was feeling a little grinchy on Billings South Side Sunday night.

Around 10 p.m., an old blue pickup truck was stolen at the Sandee’s restaurant at 1125 S. 27th St., owners Scot and Jennifer Ireton posted on Facebook.

The pickup is the only thing they have capable of pulling the food truck, which means it will stay on site for now, the owners said.

The pickup has a bent bumper and a big dent in the passenger side door.

A year ago, the Iretons moved into the current permanent site, the former home of Blondie’s, after operating for a few years solely out of the food truck.

The Iretons relaunched the Sandee’s brand, a popular Billings mainstay that closed in the 1990s, in 2016.

If you see the truck, call Billings police at 406-657-8200.
