BILLINGS – An altercation in downtown Billings early Monday resulted in one man being taken to the hospital after he was struck by a vehicle.
Officers were sent to an area near Denny’s on 27 Street North at about 2:40 a.m. where they found a 23-year-old man who had been struck by a vehicle. The man was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police Sgt. Pat Curry said in a press release witnesses gave statements and descriptions which led to the arrests of three suspects.
Based on the statements, officers determined the victim was assaulted by a man in his mid to late 20s and then run over by a mid-size SUV driven by a 56-year-old man.
Curry said the investigation is ongoing. No other information was released.
