BILLINGS The Billings Police Department is investigating a car versus a pedestrian near the intersection of North 27th Street and 11th Avenue North.

According to Lt. Brandon Wooley, a man was being escorted off of hospital property by security when he entered the construction area on North 27th Street. Because of the construction, there is no marked crosswalk in that area.

The man was hit by a northbound car on North 27th Street.

The man was taken to a Billings hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is ongoing.
