BILLINGS – Employees of the new Billings West End supermarket are filling shelves so you can fill your carts this weekend.
WinCo foods on the corner of 24th Street West and Central Avenue, will open on Sunday, March 3.
Employees like Jeff Cullers, the director of pizza operations for WinCo Foods, are excited for the opening of the first WinCo in Billings. “People are super excited. They know we are coming they know where we are.”
Winco Foods is opening two new stores in Montana; one in Helena, the other in Billings. It is roughly 84,000 sq. ft. and staffs roughly 150 employees.
As one of the largest employee owner program companies in the nation WinCo Foods believes in the benefits of employee ownership.
“Definitely taking pride in the company, you do have some definite ownership,” said Melissa Otto, the Billings WinCo store manager.
“We love this company. You will see a lot of us wearing I love WinCo stickers and we really do and that translates into great customer service and the customers also recognize it as well,” Culler said.
The new WinCo Foods, will open its doors to the public this Sunday at 9 a.m.
