BILLINGS- Four people were transported to the hospital after a crash at the intersection of Sixth Ave North and Main Street in front of MetraPark in Billings Tuesday afternoon .
Billings Police Sgt. Matthew Chaney said the crash happened when a truck traveling westbound hit an SUV traveling north. The force pushed the SUV over a median and into a van traveling southbound on Main Street.
Chaney said at this point it is not clear which vehicle, the truck or the SUV, ran the traffic light.
Two people in the SUV were extracted and transported to the hospital. One person from the truck, and one from the van were transported as well. Chaney said it appears all sustained non-life threatening injuries.
The crash happened just after 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, and as of 3:30 p.m., officers were still working to clear the scene. Traffic was slowed in the area, and multiple lanes of Main Street were closed.
