BILLINGS – This year, a mainstay of Billings broadcasting is celebrating 60 years on the air.
Major Dan Miller is now playing the oldies on Mojo 92.5, but got his start in Billings on KOOK Radio, the AM station that at one time was KTVQ’s radio affiliate.
In fact, Q2 first went on the air here as KOOK-TV, and for many years shared a building with KOOK radio. For the early years of TV, it was the radio station that largely paid the bills for both operations.
Q2’s Ed McIntosh caught up with Major Dan for this week’s Q2 Rewind.
