Posted

Showers and cool weather linger Tuesday, but warmer and drier days are ahead.

Unsettled weather will continue Tuesday. But temperatures will be a little warmer, the rain will tend to be showery, and any snow accumulation will be light and limited to the high elevations.

Isolated afternoon thunderstorms may develop but will be few and far between. Winds will be generally light.

High temperatures Tuesday will be mainly in the mid to upper 50s. Showers will favor areas on a line from Livingston to Billings to Miles City southward. Expect the cloudy to mostly cloudy day.

By Wednesday, showers will be isolated with more sun and a little warmer temperatures. Highs will be mainly in the 50s to mid 60s.

Thursday and Friday will trend warmer and drier with highs in the 70s. Friday afternoon, a few places may approach 80 degrees.

Tuesday night… Mostly cloudy with a chance of evening showers. Low of about 42.

Wednesday… Partly to mostly sunny with isolated showers. Around 62 for a high.
