BOZEMAN — Beginning Jan. 1, 2020 Bozeman Health will be paying its employees a minimum wage of $15 an hour.
That makes it the first health care system in the state to make the move.
The wage increase will affect more than 300 current employees, mostly in nutrition and environmental services. Another 700 employees, currently paid between $15 and $20 an hour, will see their pay go up incrementally.
Company officials say the pay increase is to help offset the rise in the cost of living in the Bozeman area.
