Zack's Perfect Bracket Tips & Picks

Posted: Updated:

Monday on Montana This Morning, Zack was on the show to give some tips on filling out a NCAA tournament bracket and the MTM team put their heads together to try to concoct a perfect bracket!

Zack shared these tips with the viewers:

1. Pick A #12-Seed over a #5-Seed

In 9 of the last 10 tournaments, at least one #12 seed defeated a #5 seed. You can't go wrong picking at least one #12 seed. This year look at New Mexico State over Clemson as a potential upset choice.

 2. Look For Teams With Senior Leadership To Go Far

Teams with solid seniors always seem to make deep runs in march, last year 3 out 4 Final Four teams had a senior for their best player, experience usually wins out when the pressure is on.

 3. Have Fun

It sounds silly, but filling out a perfect bracket is nearly impossible! Anyone who tells you they know what's going to happen in this tournament is lying to you.

The odds of picking a perfect bracket are 1 in 9.2 quintillion!

So have fun, watch some basketball, and keep a wide smile even after that bracket is busted.

The MTM team filled out what they believed to be a winning bracket.

Their Final 4 featured the Kentucky Wildcats, the North Carolina Tarheels, the Villanova Wildcats and the Kansas Jayhawks.

The crew decided an all Wildcat final was meant to be as they predicted Villanova would out shine Kentucky to become the kings of March Madness!
