BILLINGS - From the Festival of Trees to the premiere of the comic thriller "Hubbub" at the Babcock theater, it was a busy weekend filled with events in Billings.

Friday night the Festival of Trees kicked off with an auction on 41 Christmas trees and continued throughout the weekend.

The Holiday ArtWalk and Christmas stroll were also scheduled for Friday night with live music, art demonstrations, and holiday treats for Billings residents to enjoy.

Saturday night at 8 p.m. the Babcock Theater premiered a local independent film "Hubbub" in which Q2's own Casey Conlan had a supporting role.

Finally, the Alberta Bair Theater will be filled with festive music Sunday night as it puts on Handel's "Messiah" for the 24th anniversary of the St. Vincent Healthcare Foundation's Messiah Festival. Admission to the event is free but tickets ensure quality seating.
