WHITEFISH - The shooting rampage in Las Vegas that left 58 dead and more than 515 wounded has hit home in Northwest Montana.

The man who funds the operation of Whitefish-based Two Bear Air was among those at the Jason Aldean concert when the shots rang out late Sunday.

The company posted the following statement on their Facebook page:

"Our hearts and prayers go out to the victims and families of the Las Vegas Shooting. Mike Goguen who funds the Two Bear Air Rescue Program was at the concert with his wife Jamie when the shooting started. Mike was able to assist many of the victims during this tragedy even while the shots were continuing to come. Mike is a Rescue Specialist and EMT with Two Bear Air Rescue and his emergency medical training training was exactly what he needed in this time of tragedy. It is amazing how the choices we make in our lives to help others have impacts way beyond our imagination."
