A Waiting Child: Louann

Posted: Updated:

BUTTE - This month’s A Waiting Child is 17-year-old Louann, who hopes one day to find a family and become a big sister.

Louann is a busy young lady with many interests: “I like to do tae-kwon-do and I like drawing and art and stuff, I do a little bit of pottery.”

“I want to be the oldest person because I never got the chance to be a big sister or a sister at all. I just like watching them just like grow up and looking up to me and say ‘hi’ and say ‘I love you, sister’,” Louann said.

Louann wants to go to college to become a nurse. “I also want to go to cosmetology school to do a lot of stuff, because I like doing hair and doing makeup and stuff...it makes me happy.”

And it would make her happy to find a happy home.
