Stroller struck by vehicle in downtown Billings

An infant and toddler escaped serious injury when the stroller they were being pushed in was struck by an SUV in a downtown intersection Wednesday afternoon.

The mother and two teenagers were crossing southbound on North 29th St. with the stroller when it was struck by Toyota Rav 4 heading west on 1st Aven North.

Billings Police Officer Tom Keightley said the initial investigation shows the pedestrians were crossing against the light.

The two children were taken to a Billings hospital for observation but their injuries dis not appear to be serious.

Billings police are investigating the incident.
