Q2 Weather: Noticeably cooler Monday, but storms still possible

Monday will be noticeably cooler than the weekend. Expect scattered showers and thunderstorms later in the day.

But for a change there may be more rain than wind.

High temperatures for Monday and Tuesday will be mainly in the 80s to low 90s. Expect sunshine with a few clouds mixed in.

The best chance for rain this week will be Monday evening. Scattered showers and thunderstorms could persist through early Tuesday.

Late Tuesday, isolated showers and thunderstorms are possible.

Temperatures will begin to heat up again, with Thursday on track to be the hottest day of the week. Highs may reach the upper 90s.

Billings forecast:

Monday… Sunny early with increasing clouds in the afternoon. A high of about 87. A light East wind by the afternoon.

Monday night… A 40% chance of showers and thunderstorms during the evening, and then becoming mostly clear overnight. A low near 61.

Tuesday… Sunny to mostly sunny, with a high around 89. Light northerly wind.
