Two men were hit by a pickup truck that was towing a camper on Main Street near Lake Elmo Road on at 7:50 p.m. on Thursday.

Delray Lamewoman, 30, and Jeremy Stanfield, 37, were both transported to a local hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The truck was southbound on Main Street approaching the intersection with a green light to proceed, according to a press release.

The driver observed Lamewoman and Stanfield start to cross Main Street from the west side of the road and attempted to stop.

The added weight of the trailer made it unable for him to brake in time and the pickup struck both pedestrians.

One of the subjects was rendered unconscious from the impact and the other was able to get up and walk away.

Both were intoxicated and were cited for pedestrian violations.
