Disabled man robbed while walking dog in Bozeman

A disabled man was reportedly robbed on Wednesday night in Bozeman.

According to a press release from the Bozeman Police Department, at approximately 8:58 p.m. officers were dispatched to the Days Inn on North 7th after a man reported he was robbed while walking his dog.

The man told officers that an unknown man snuck up behind him, pressed a pointed object into his back and demanded his wallet.

After getting the victim’s wallet, the man ran north into the GranTree parking lot.

The suspect is described as a white male, 5’9” tall and slender build wearing black pants, a black short sleeved t-shirt, and a black ski mask.  

Detectives are investigating the incident.
