BILLINGS -

Rocky Mountain College has been chosen as the only collegiate choir to represent Montana at the American Choral Directors National Conference.

The conference takes place in Minneapolis, Minn. from March 8 to 11, 2017.

Only one collegiate choir from each state was invited to send a balanced quartet (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass).

"I'm thrilled that our students will showcase Rocky Mountain College as they represent Montana at this prestigious event," said Dr. Steven Hart, a professor of music at Rocky.

Singers from all 50 states will be featured in a Unity Concert directed by Dr. Jeffery Ames of Belmont University.

Students selected to attend:

Kayleigh Griffith - soprano

Paige Schladetsch - alto

Trevor Hunnes - tenor

Mitchell Harmon - bass

*Gretchen Carlson (soprano) was selected as an alternate to fill a vacancy from one of the other 49 states.
