Editor's Note: This is a release from Rocky Mountain College.

Rocky Mountain College football player Jason Baker was recently awarded the Berv and Virginia Kimberly scholarship.

Baker, a 5-foot-11, 200-pound, senior defensive back, is a Billings West High School product. He is working toward a business management degree.

The Kimberly award is given to a member of the Battlin’ Bears football team from the Billings/Laurel area and must be at least a sophomore with the intent of a future career in coaching.

Berv Kimberly, a 1956 graduate of Rocky, where he participated in athletics and was coached by Herb Klindt, is a former West High football coach. He was inducted into the Rocky Mountain College Clara Klindt Athletic Hall of Fame in 1999.
