HAMILTON -

The wildfire smoke is settling in across the Bitterroot and Missoula valleys over the last few days because of the Observation fire.

In the Hamilton area, the Montana Department of Environmental Quality says air is moderate, meaning that people with sensitive health conditions should consider limiting prolonged outdoor exertion.

Thursday afternoon air quality in Missoula continued to be good.
