Mitchell, Capouch, Juhl earn Frontier honors

Three Rocky Mountain College women’s basketball players received Frontier Conference accolades, announced by Commissioner Kent Paulson today.

Whitney Mitchell earned second team All-Conference. The 5-foot-7 guard from West Valley, Utah, led the Battlin’ Bears in scoring at 15.1 points a game. She started all 30 games.

Fellow senior Tenika Capouch (5-11, forward, Skyview High School) was also named to the Frontier’s second team.

Capouch finished second on the team in scoring at 12.8 points a game, and led the Battlin’ Bears in rebounding, as she collected 247 caroms for an average of 8.2 per game. She also started all 30 games.

Freshman Justyn Juhl, a 6-foot-1 forward from Billings Central Catholic High School, was named by the league’s coaches as the 6th Player of the Year.
