Big Brothers Big Sisters
As part of the School Based Program, the high school volunteers are responsible for their rides to and from the schools where they meet the children they mentor. Unfortunately, not all of them have transportation forcing them to resign from the program. Western Security Bank made a $10,000 donation for Big Brothers Big Sisters to purchase a van to provide rides to student mentors. This will allow more children to receive a visit by a Big Brother or Sister. If you are interested in becoming a mentor there are so many ways to get involved with this great organization! In fact, right now there are 20+ boys that are waiting for a Big to be matched with. In addition, there are opportunities for local business people to be matched with a Little for lunch once a week. You will not regret your decision to join Big Brothers Big Sisters of Yellowstone County.
