BILLINGS - For the first time in 10 years, the MSWGA State Amateur and Senior Amateur tournaments will be held in northwest Montana.
Players will compete on the Whitefish Lake Golf Course as the 95th Annual Event tees off July 17-19.
This year's Hall Of Fame inductee and Scholarship recipients are:
Hall Of Fame:
Sue Matson of Laurel, MT was chosen by the MSWGA board of directors and will be inducted during a ceremony at the Wed. July 18 banquet. Sue is the reigning state senior champion. Her other state titles came in 2007 and 2008. She has also been the golf coach at Laurel High School for the past 9 seasons.
2012 MSWGA Scholarship Awards:
Lauren Hausauer of Bozeman - $1,500
Lauren Buechler of Malta - $1,500
Kyla Clancy of Park City - $1,000
Emily Buckner of Livingston - $1,000
