BILLINGS - A non-injury crash turned into a minor injury crash in Billings, Thursday afternoon.
The Billings Police say a two-car non-injury crash was off to the side of the road, on Laurel Road near Underpass Avenue around 4:30 pm.
Traffic backed up onto the overpass that connects Montana Avenue and Laurel Road.
When the officer arrived, a 1997 Dodge truck and a 2001 Chevrolet Blazer had moved to the side of the road. A 2000 Chevy Blazer was heading west and rear-ended the 2001 Blazer.
The 2001 Blazer ended up on its side. The driver, Stephen Richardson and a male passenger were able to get out of the vehicle. The Billings Fire Department had to extricate a 28-year old woman. An ambulance took her to the hospital and she was treated for minor injuries and released.
Officers cited Richardson and the driver of the Dodge for careless driving.
