BILLINGS - A Saint Xavier woman has entered a not guilty plea to charges of second degree murder in connection with the death of her 3-year-old daughter.
Mary Agnes Leider, 24, appeared in U.S. District Court in Billings on Tuesday morning.
Leider allegedly threw her daughter, Tenielle Big Day, from a moving vehicle on Dec. 3. Tests taken later that morning reveal that Leider had a blood alcohol level of point-2-4.
Leider could face a life sentence plus a $250,000 fine if found guilty. Her trial is set for April 22.
