The deadline to appeal the removal of wolves from the federal endangered species list passed quietly this week with no action.
With no action from the animal rights and anti-hunting groups that have been involved in wolf advocacy, the case will not advance to the U.S. Supreme Court.
In March, the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals affirmed the constitutionality of Congress' removal of wolves from the federal endangered species list.
Because the groups did not file an appeal, the Ninth Circuit decision is final.
