BILLINGS - Shortly after 3 p.m. Sunday, emergency crews responded to a hit-and-run accident on 2nd Avenue South and South 39th Street.

A female suspect driving a maroon Chevy Tahoe drove on to the sidewalk, intentionally striking a male with the front of the vehicle. The suspect proceeded to flee the scene on foot.

At this time, the suspect is still at-large. No description of the suspect was given at this time.

According to witnesses in the neighborhood, the victim was the suspect's husband. Alledgedly, both the suspect and victim were involved in a domestic dispute earlier this year.

The male was transported to a hospital with unknown injuries.

Officers are actively looking for the suspect.

We'll provide updates to this story as information becomes available.
