BILLINGS -  West High's basketball girls saved their best for last this season.

The Lady Bears leaned on balanced scoring efforts from Kylie Nielsen (12 pts) and Daniel Muri (11 pts) to beat Missoula Sentinel in Saturday's consolation game, 42-39.  The Lady Spartans were led by D.J. Reinhardt with 14.

West led 22-16 at half and never trailed again.  Sentinel tied it with under a minute to play, but West buried free throws down the stretch, and survived a missed shot at the buzzer to finish 3rd at State.
