BILLINGS - Shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday night, Billings police responded to a rollover accident at State and Underpass Avenue.
Upon arrival police and medical crews found a truck on its roof in the middle of the intersection.
Billings police told Q2 that the vehicle was traveling north on Calhoun Lane and failed to turn on to Underpass Avenue.
The truck careened through a field directly north of Calhoun Lane and struck a light pole causing the truck to roll, which landed in the south bound lanes of Underpass Avenue.
The single male driver of the vehicle was conscious and breathing at the time of medical services arriving on scene.
He was transported to Billings Clinic with non-life threatening injuries.
Billings Police Department says speed was a factor in the accident
The investigation is ongoing.
