Wednesday traffic report

BILLINGS - Scheduled to begin this morning around 8 am in the 2300 block of Grand Avenue, one block east of the 24th and Grand intersection. Grand Avenue will be funneled down to single lane traffic in each direction through Friday afternoon. Expect slowed traffic and congestion. Also, beginning this morning commuters can expect eastbound single lane traffic on the 200 block of Wicks Lane through this Monday afternoon.

The intersection of 13th Street West and Parkhill Drive is closed to all traffic for total reconstruction. This project is scheduled to continue through August 19th also in this neighborhood 15th Street West remains closed from Avenue D to Parkhill Drive.

Work is scheduled to begin this week on State Avenue from Orchard Lane to 27th Street top soil and embankment operations will begin first commuters can expect periodic equipment, personnel and flagging operations especially in intersections.

Work continues on the intersection of 24th and Broadwater and 24th and Lewis commuters can expect single lane traffic, delays and congestion for several blocks in all directions.

Calhoun Lane remains under heavy construction with local traffic only from approximately Stone to Underpass Ave. Also, in this area Stone Street is closed from South Billings Boulevard to Arden Avenue both of these jobs should be finished up by the end of the month and in this neighborhood Newman Lane is now closed from Murphy Avenue to Phillip Street this project will go through Friday Aug 6th

The closure on Grand Avenue from 58th Street West to 62nd Street West has been extend for a couple more weeks.

Lake Elmo Drive is closed to traffic from Hansen Lane to Josephine Drive Hansen and Hilltop do remain open for east and west traffic. This project will continue along Lake Elmo to Wicks throughout this summer and into the fall.

Shiloh Road is still under major construction and closed to all through traffic from Central Avenue to King Avenue West and continuing to Hesper Road. Northbound Shiloh commuters do have business access to Shiloh crossing shopping center.

Utility work is slowly getting under way at the intersection of South Frontage Road and Zoo Drive work includes traffic signals installation along with curb, gutter and sidewalks this project is scheduled to last through August.
