KALISPELL- Folks who like to hike, but aren't sure which trails to tackle in Glacier National Park, have a new website that can provide some great tips.
The website hikinginglacier.com launched this week and contains details on over 60 trails in the park. Trail descriptions, key features, pictures, maps, elevation profiles and trail difficulty are all now available in one convenient location.
The site was designed to help hikers compare and contrast different trails and is a sister site to hikingthesmokeys.com which is the number one hiking website for the Great Smokey Mountains.
Another local website for hiking enthusiasts in northwest Montana is hike734.com that will eventually have detailed information, pictures and video on all 734 miles of trail in Glacier National Park.
