Vehicle vs. pedestrian accident on N 27th

UPDATE: BILLINGS: Police crash scene investigators are looking into a vehicle versus pedestrian accident in Downtown Billings.
It happened just before 8 p.m. Thursday in the 600 block of North 27th near the Hardee's restaurant.

Police say a 33-year-old Billings man attempted to cross the street - in the middle of the block - not at a crosswalk and was struck by a red Ford Taurus.

The 79-year-old driver from Billings was heading south on 27th when it happened.

Police Sergeant Neal Lawrence says alcohol and speed do not appear to be factors for the driver.

The pedestrian was rushed to Billings Clinic. The extent of his injuries are not known at this time.


8:08 p.m. BILLINGS- A vehicle verses pedestrian accident on N 27th St. in front of the Hardee's restaurant sends one person to the hospital. More details are unknown at this time. South bound traffic on N27th is being re-routed.
