US 87 re-opens for travel at reduced speeds

Highway US-87 from Billings through Roundup has been re-opened at reduced speeds.
Vehicles will be stopped prior to traveling from mile-marker 34 to mile-marker 40 to clarify that no vehicle is to stop within the fire area. Tickets will be issued for violations.
The speed limit has been set at 35 MPH. Should the fire approach the road again or poor visibility occur, a pilot car may be used.
Evacuations are still in place and no entry into evacuated areas will be permitted until further notice.
Caution is advised while traveling trough this area.
