UPDATE: BILLINGS- The Billings Police Department say they will be re-opening Pioneer Park soon.
According to Lieutenant Kevin Iffland, the bomb was found in a trash can in Pioneer Park, but it was unclear when the bomb exploded.
Police are investigating any noise complaints which may have happened Wednesday night or Thursday morning.
The exploded pipe bomb was the only device found in the park.

BILLINGS- The Billings Police Department says one pipe bomb exploded in Pioneer Park Thursday morning.
Lieutenant Kevin Iffland says the park is currently closed to the public as the police department is searching the park for other explosive devices.
Roads around the park remain open and homes in the area have not been evacuated.
