UPDATE: Flooding continues in Roundup, shelter open, schools closed

ROUNDUP - Musselshell River flood waters continued Monday to soak low-lying areas in and around Roundup.

Roundup School Superintendent Chad Selay said schools will be closed Tuesday due to the flooding. The decision to reopen the schools will be made on a day-to-day basis, he said.

An emergency shelter has been opened for residents who have been forced from their homes. The shelter at Saint Benedict's Catholic Church can provide food, blankets and other amenities.

A Q2 News team is in Roundup and will provide further information as it becomes available.
