UPDATE: Firefighters put out blaze on Burlington Avenue

BILLINGS- A rental property at the back of a house on Burlington Avenue was completely destroyed by fire early Thursday morning in Billings.
The Billings Fire Department says that when they arrived shortly after being notified of the fire at 6:45a.m., the small house behind 226 Burlington Avenue was completely engulfed by flames.
The fire department says no one was inside the home at the time of the fire and that the 400 square foot structure was a total loss.
The fire marshal was still investigating the fire as of 10a.m. to determine the cause of the fire.
The fire department says the other home located on the property did not sustain serious damage in the fire.
