UPDATE: Cody Police Chief details abduction suspect arrest

Cody Police Chief Perry Rockvam is providing further details at this hour about the abduction and assault of a young girl.

Rockvam detailed the incident about her abduction on Monday October 8th. He went through the detail of her assault first including her being left in a remote area near Cody. He provided detail on how two adult hunters found the victim and was taken to the hospital. He said it was a tremendous team effort to investigate the crime.

The suspect in the case Jesse Speer will appear in Gallitan County District Court at 1:30 p.m. today
