CODY, WY - Wyoming and Montana law enforcement are on the lookout for a man who may have killed his wife Sunday night in Cody, Wyoming.

In a press conference Monday afternoon Cody Police Chief Perry Rockvam released details surrounding the homicide investigation of Julie Friday, 34. Her husband, Myron Friday, 28, is the prime suspect in her death.

"The Cody Police Department responded to 208 33rd Street regarding an unresponsive, bleeding female," explained Chief Rockvam.

Police received the 9-1-1 call shortly after 11 p.m. Sunday. It was the victim's 17-year-old son who discovered Mrs. Friday's body.

According to Chief Rockvam, Myron Friday has a history with domestic violence and investigators are still trying to piece together the events leading up to the 34-year-old's death.

"At this point it is a domestic violence incident and our prior contacts with him have included domestic violence incidences," stated Chief Rockvam. "Our time line starts from noon yesterday and is still ongoing."

Mr. Friday was last seen at the residence prior to Mrs. Friday's death.

"We do know that he left the scene on foot, but we do not know if he's had any contact with anybody else at this point," said Chief Rockvam.

According to Chief Rockvam, it is unknown if the suspect is armed. However as the lead suspect in a homicide investigation, Mr. Friday is considered dangerous.

Multiple law enforcement agencies are involved in the search.

"We've had tips that he's possibly in Billings, Montana; we've had tips that he's possibly in Riverton," Chief Rockvam said. "But we believe that at this point there's still a possibility that he might be in Cody."

Myron Friday is described as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighs 225 pounds.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Cody Police Department at 307-527-8700.
