UPDATE: According to the Montana Highway Patrol, the driver who was extracted and transported to a Billings hospital with serious injuries has been cited for DUI.
WORDEN- A one vehicle accident occured on Highway 312 early Saturday morning. Life flight was called in from Billings but was not needed upon arrival. Montana Highway Patrol says that it is unknown exactly what caused the male driver to swerve across the oncoming lane and land in the ditch. But highway patrol says that speed and alcohol are not expected to be factors.
Injuries sustained include two broken ankles. Highway patrol are still investigating. The driver was transported to a Billings hospital but the injuries do not appear to be fatal at this time.
