Two dollars worth of anger results in thousands of dollars in damage

MISSOULA- A transient man is behind bars after he allegedly tied a vacuum hose to his pickup truck at a car wash and drove away Saturday.

Missoula Police Sergeant Jerry Odlin said the man was apparently upset that the vacuum machine at Frontier Super Stop on West Broadway had stolen his money.

Odlin said the man tied the hose to the back of the truck and drove away pulling the entire machine off the pedestal.

The man then got out of his truck, untied the hose, and drove away.

Sergeant Odlin said the man was arrested at Muralts at the Wye.

The suspect is charged with felony criminal mischief and the damage was estimated to be around $4,000.
